Internet Communication and Active Rehabilitation
for People with Mental Disorders
A project of
GRUNDTVIG
- Adult education and other educational pathways,
which is an action programme of
SOCRATES
- the European education programme.
The main objective of the project is to make it possible for the
mentally ill to acquire the skills of computer and Internet usage.
A computer and internet training teaching its usage in rehabilitation
for the staff conducting educational and rehabilitation programmes
for mentally ill (educators and therapists). The direct target group
for whom the programme is designed are mentally ill people. The
objective will be attained by means of:
- Designing a training programme which will be replicated in other
centres dealing with rehabilitation and education of mentally
ill people
- Conducting training for a group of 240 handicapped people in
four editions of the training
- Evaluation of experience and effectiveness of activities conducted
- Wide dissemination of the method aiming at social integration
of people who have gone through a mental disease.
